I can not believe how long it's been since my last post. Time has just gotten away from me. We were busy with the holidays, especially since we held Christmas at our house this year. Once that was over, I got busy at work and now am finally done. Can you believe I am also in my last trimester?! So at my last appointment, almost two weeks ago, the girls were doing great! Caroline weighed 2 lb. 5 oz. and Charlotte weighed 2 lb. 4 oz. Now Caroline's legs are just a tiny bit longer than Charlotte's. The doctor thought I was doing great as well. She did want me out of work right away. I was really supposed to be out last week but I have a hard time saying No sometimes and ended up working mostly from home. But starting tomorrow, I am done! Unfortunately, my aches and pains have increased and I'm not very mobile anymore. I can get up and do a few things but I get tired very quickly. It doesn't help that I'm not getting good sleep at night because of how uncomfortable I am. But it's all worth it! Plus, I know I only have maybe 7 or 8 weeks left. I am now down to appointments every other week. This coming Tuesday I will be scheduling my c-section at 38 weeks, which would be the last week of March. It would be ideal if the girls could stay in until then.
We have been busy trying to get the nursery ready. Our cribs come in on Tuesday so I will post some pictures later this week. My bedding is getting made and will not be done until the end of February. That is when my chair will be coming in as well. I thought I started on the nursery so early and here it is, the last minute we still don't have it done! I just didn't realize how long it would take to actually get all this stuff we ordered in. It should be in better shape at the end of this week though. Other than that, I'm just going over everything we need to have ready once they arrive. We are getting so excited and a little scared! They will be here before we know it! Andrew and I are enjoying this time we have with just the two of us. Even the smallest things like going to the grocery store together, watching TV, or eating a nice dinner out....it's hard to believe that in a couple of weeks there will never be just the two of us again! But it will be so much better! We will have the two of us PLUS two precious babies. I couldn't ask for anything better than that.
Here are a couple of pictures..

I hope everybody is enjoying this wonderful new year! Andrew and I have so many things to be thankful for and that we look forward to. I look forward to all the good times with the girls...baking, crafts, picnics in the park, traveling. Oh I just can't wait for them to be here!
It's such a beautiful day today, we couldn't stand to not be outside. We are out in the yard, me writing this post, Andrew on the roof trying to trim trees. He has been so obsessed with this tree trimming. If only I could get him this focused on the nursery and we would be in good shape!
Next post will have some nursery pics!
I just can't wait for the girls to be here!!
