6 Months

I can't believe the girls are half a year old!! I know I always say that but seriously!

Charlotte was skeptical about the camera
They had their check up today and it went well. Caroline weighed 12 lbs. 14 oz. and Charlotte weighed 12 lbs. 11 oz. They are growing so great! Just this week Charlotte was getting up on her hands and knees like she was ready to crawl. I don't know if I can handle them crawling yet!

Charlotte wouldn't let me put her down while Dr. Hall examined her. She's becoming quite the momma's girl!

This is a quick post because we are headed to Vermont for two weeks tomorrow! I'm so ready for some fall weather. Hopefully the girls do good on the plane. Happy Fall!

5 Months

Yes, I know this post is very late! I would have been my usual 1 week/2 week late but then our internet decided to stop working. We've had problems with our provider and will soon be changing. I've had most of this post written for a while now. I just needed to add the pictures.
Here are their 5 month pics...

Charlotte and Daddy (Poor Caroline, she didn't make as many pictures because she was napping)

We had a great Labor Day weekend. Andrew's parents came in town from Vermont for a few days. We had lots of family and friend time...

Lots of new changes at 5 months. They are reaching for everything, especially Charlotte. They are smiling and laughing so much more too. This stage is so exciting. They are beginning to sit up better but not quite on their own yet. We have introduced solids...

They did very well with their first feeding...loving the spoon but not so much the veggies. We will be working on that.

What they are loving at the moment:

-touching faces
-eating with the spoon
-putting everything in their mouth
-swing...finally
-music...I took the girls to a music class and they were in love
-books

Things they do not like so much:

-carseat
-sleeping on their back
-rockers they practically lived in their first 3 months
-sweet potatoes

6 month pictures tomorrow (hopefully)!
